This will include working with children with challenging behaviour, complex emotional problems, mental health disorders and other additional/special needs.

Have a recognised QCF Level 3 diploma in Residential Care in working with children and young people or an equivalent qualification or a willingness to undertake.

Experience of working with children and young people.

An understanding of child development and challenging behaviour.

A positive attitude and the ability to work with young people.

You will also be required to work unsocial hours – including weekends, bank holidays, and nights. A full UK driving license is a requirement for this post.
