Middlesbrough College is a General Further Education College (GFE) and the largest provider of post-16 education and training in the Tees Valley. In August 2008, the College relocated from four sites (Acklam, Kirby, Longlands and Marton) to a new £68 million campus at Middlehaven with an additional £6.8 million spent in 2012 on a new Sixth Form Centre (MC6) and Sports Facilities (MC SPORT).

The College has excellent facilities and is committed to continued investment.

The College has approximately 12,500 students who have access to recording studios, practice rooms, dance and drama studios and a 156 seat theatre, a six-court sports hall, a fitness studio, art studios, hair and beauty salons, a spa suite, engineering and construction workshops, training kitchens, lecture theatres, science laboratories, a restaurant and many more facilities.

Working with employers is an increasing part of the College’s overall strategy.
