Major development is currently taking place around Middlesbrough College on the Middlehaven Site, with the College being seen as a major hub for this investment and indeed is looking to invest a further £20 million over the next 3 years on a number of schemes having invested £68 million in 2008 on a state of the art building and a £7 million Sixth Form Centre in 2012.
